Kiss Him, Not Me is a fun and hilarious romantic comedy anime and manga. It follows Kae Serinuma, a high school girl and an extreme fujoshi (someone who loves boys’ love stories). One day, her life changes drastically when she loses weight and suddenly becomes popular with the boys in her school.

With multiple love interests vying for her attention, fans often wonder—who does Kae end up with? Let’s dive into the exciting journey of Kae’s love life!

The Admirers Fighting for Kae’s Heart

After her transformation, Kae catches the attention of four boys and even one girl! Each one of them has a unique charm:

  • Asuma Mutsumi – A kind and gentle senpai.
  • Yuusuke Igarashi – The cool and confident classmate.
  • Nozomu Nanashima – A rough yet caring bad boy.
  • Shima Nishina – A rich and beautiful girl who also loves BL.
  • Hayato Shinomiya – A cute junior who gradually develops feelings for Kae.

Each of them competes for Kae’s love, leading to many hilarious and heartwarming moments!

The Journey to Finding Love

Kae enjoys the company of all her admirers but struggles to choose just one. Unlike typical romance stories where the main character picks a love interest early on, Kae remains clueless and treats them as friends. She is more interested in her BL fantasies than real-life romance!

As the story progresses, the group goes through many adventures. They face challenges, misunderstandings, and even a tropical island trip! Each suitor tries their best to impress Kae, but nothing seems to work.

The Final Decision – Who Wins Kae’s Heart?

As the story reaches its climax, Kae finally starts to think seriously about love. After much confusion and pressure from her friends, she realizes her true feelings.

In the end, Kae chooses Asuma Mutsumi!

Asuma is the most patient and kind among the group. Unlike the others, he loves Kae for who she truly is, not just for her looks. He accepts her fujoshi side and genuinely cares for her happiness.

Mutsumi also goes through character growth. Initially, he is unsure about romance, but over time, he realizes that his feelings for Kae are real. This makes their relationship feel natural and heartfelt.

Fan Reactions to Kae’s Choice

The ending brought mixed reactions from fans. Some were happy with Kae and Mutsumi’s relationship, while others wished she had chosen a different person, or even stayed single!

Kae choosing Mutsumi makes sense because he is the only one who fully supports her personality. He never pressures her to change and enjoys spending time with her for who she is.

Conclusion

Kiss Him, Not Me is a unique romance story that doesn’t follow typical love triangles. Instead, it offers a hilarious look at dating, fandoms, and personal growth.

Although many characters fell for Kae, it was Asuma Mutsumi who ultimately won her heart. Their relationship is filled with mutual care and understanding, making it a satisfying love story.

What do you think? Did Kae make the right choice? Let us know your thoughts!
